Epanomi is located 25 km south-east from Thessaloniki.
The proximity of the vineyards to the sea, the quite rural landscape of many different crops as well as a milder climate are some of the elements making this region, so close to the big city of Thessaloniki, a country side heaven.
The region has a long tradition of wine making and is famous as a relaxing destination for good food and wine lovers.
The soil here is mainly sandy with some calcareous rocks. Sea deposits at the surrounding hills rich in fossils are constitute a complex and beautiful terroir.
